Prevent Cold and Flu Naturally with 3 Potent Remedies

It’s winter time. As the temperatures drops, more people get sick with cold and flu.

Make sure you are buying organic garlic.

2. Support Your Immune System with Probiotic Foods

Here is one example of the probiotic rich foods that everyone in IBD remission should use. For me,  the probiotic winner is homemade fermented food I love the most  – sauerkraut. Did you know that bacteria in your gut represents 70% of your immune system? Fermented veggies do a fantastic job in feeding beneficial bacteria that resides in your gut and supports your immune system in its fight against cold, flu and other infections. Fermentation transforms vegetables (cabbage, kirby’s, radishes, carrots) into “probiotic/cultured foods” full of lactic bacteria, probiotics and enzymes, which MUST be present in abundance in a healthy digestive system. (a) drink sauerkraut juice (1-2 tablespoons) first thing in the morning before breakfast,
